Camping Brabant - Costa Kabrita
Camping rules
For the sake of the quality of life at our campsite it is necessary to have campsite regulations. This is because there are several people living together temporarily and it is therefore necessary for everyone to abide by the rules. By your presence on our campsite you agree to the following rules:
BOARD
It is not permitted to enter the farm premises without permission. (barns, stables, sheds, feeding pits, etc.) This is due to accidents.
EXCURSION ROOM
The excursion room above the milking parlour, where you can watch the goats and the milking process, children under supervision, open in the evenings between 18.00 and 20.00.
CHICKENS AND DUCKS
A number of free-range chickens and ornamental ducks live next to the campsite. These like to eat bread, lettuce and cabbage leaves. They will be grateful if you do not throw it in the bin but give it to the chickens and ducks.
OTHER ANIMALS
We feed the cows, goats and the dog. You are not allowed to feed these animals, otherwise they get sick quickly, they really do get enough.
HOME WASTE
All rubbish should be separated in the bins. We all benefit from a healthy environment. All waste must have been produced on the campsite.
- Paper: in bin with blue lid
- Full bin bags: put them in the large round container
- Bulky waste: Is not allowed, you must take it home with you, such as chairs, tents, etc.
- Glass: in the blue glass container
- Vegetable waste, grass cuttings: in the small green container
LITTER
Clean up your and others' litter while walking. Bring a free bag from the Depo- Clean and borrow a pick-up stick, throw your bag in the bin afterwards.
WASTEWATER
Spoils the environment and hence your habitat. So do not throw it away near tents and caravans, it attracts flies. Empty waste water in chemical toilets.
TOILET BUCKETS
Empty in chemical toilet. Preferably do not use chemicals. Tips: Natural soap, green soap and all toilet duck are the least harmful to nature.
TOILETS
We use these together and so we should also keep them clean together. Be proud of a clean toilet after every stay! Sanitary towels, etc., in the trays. New disabled/family shower available, use only for that target group (disabled and families with children).
CAMPERS
There is a disposal point, in front by the chicken run/ under walnut tree, for your dirty water and you can also tap water there.
Toilets empty into chemical toilet.
WASHING MACHINE + DRYER
You may use the campsite washing machine and dryer, you can buy tokens and washing powder from us for € 3.00 per wash / € 3.00 per dry. Only put in the token when the light is off.
DRAIN MACHINE
This one is free, works with a button and takes 5 minutes. If it malfunctions at the bottom of the kitchen cupboard, pull out the plug and put it back in (reset)
AED, FIRST AID
The AED, first aid kit and plaster dispenser are under the roof near the reception conservatory. Please return them after use and tell us what you have used.
FRIDGE/KITCHEN
The fridge is for joint use. Make sure your name is on your items. Also on the cooling elements. When using the oven or hob, please clean it yourself after use so that it is clean for the next user.
PETS
They are welcome on our campsite, but must be kept on a leash. Please let them out outside the site and not in the campsite woods. Post by the toilets is to tie you dog to when going to toilet or washing up. We have also placed a depo-dog: so clean up dog shit yourself, so it does not bother anyone else. So NO excrement on the campsite and in the campsite forest.
PARKING CARS
Cars must be parked at the front of the site, only for loading and unloading you can drive onto the site for a short while. Please close the barrier after driving through. This is for the peace and quiet of the campsite and to preserve the grounds. For long-term parking (not getting out 10x every day), there is also a car park near the goat meadow.
BUSES
Only buses are allowed to park in the bus spots (see signs).
TRAFFIC
The maximum speed on the site is 5 km per hour or walking pace (i.e. you cannot overtake a pedestrian). Watch out for playing children !!!
GUESTS
You may receive guests, of course, but they must observe the campsite rules.
The rates for short visits (3 hours) = €0.50 per person, for long visits €1.50 per person and for the car = €0.50.
