Camping Brabant - Costa Kabrita

Camping rules

For the sake of the quality of life at our campsite it is necessary to have campsite regulations. This is because there are several people living together temporarily and it is therefore necessary for everyone to abide by the rules. By your presence on our campsite you agree to the following rules:

It is not permitted to enter the farm premises without permission. (barns, stables, sheds, feeding troughs, etc.) This is to prevent accidents.

Excursion room:
The excursion room above the milking parlour, where you can watch the goats and the milking, children under supervision, open in the evening between 18.00 and 20.00.

Chickens and ducks:
There are a number of free-range chickens and ornamental ducks next to the campsite. They like bread, lettuce and cabbage leaves. They will be grateful if you do not throw this away but give it to the chickens and ducks.

Other animals:
The cows, goats and the dog are fed by us. It is not allowed to feed these animals, otherwise they quickly get sick, they really get enough.

All waste must be separated in the bins. We all benefit from a healthy environment. All waste must be produced on the campsite.

  • Paper: in bin with blue lid.
  • Full rubbish bags: put them in the big round container yourself.
  • Bulky waste: is not allowed, you have to take it home, like chairs, tents, etc.
  • Glass: in the blue glass container.
  • Organic waste, grass clippings in small green container.

Waste water:
Destroys the environment and your surroundings. Do not throw it away near tents and caravans, it attracts flies. Dispose of waste water in the chemical toilet.

Toilet buckets:
Empty in the chemical toilet. Preferably do not use any chemical agents. Tips: Natural liquid soap, green soap and all toilet duck products are the least harmful to nature.

We use these together and we must therefore keep them clean together. Be proud of a clean toilet after each stay! Please put sanitary towels etc. in the trays. New disabled / family shower available, use only for that target group (disabled and families with children).

There is a dumping ground for your dirty water at the front by the chicken run/under the walnut tree (drain cover in the ground) and you can also tap water there.
Toilets must be emptied into the chemical toilet and not above the outlet.

Washing machine and dryer:
You may use the camping washing machine and dryer, tokens and washing powder are available from us for € 3.00 per wash / € 3.00 per dry.
Please do not insert the coin until the light is off.

This is free, works with a button and takes 5 minutes. If there is a malfunction in the bottom of the kitchen cabinet, pull the plug out and put it back in (reset).

AED, FIRST AID:
The AED, first-aid kit and plaster dispenser are under the shelter near the reception. Please return them after use and tell us what you have used.

The refrigerator is for communal use, please make sure that your name is mentioned on the items. Also on the cooling elements. When using the oven or cooker, please clean it yourself after use so that it is tidy for the next user.

Pets are welcome:
These are welcome on our campsite, but they must be kept on a leash. They must be kept on a leash and not let out into the woods. The post near the toilets is for putting your dog on when you go to the toilet or wash up. We have also placed a depo-dog: so clean up dog shit yourself, then someone else will not be bothered by it. So NO excrement on the campsite and in the camping woods. The nuisance is almost always caused by the owner and not by the dog.

Parking cars:
Cars must be parked at the front of the site, only for loading and unloading can you drive onto the site briefly. Please close the gate after driving through. This is for the peace and quiet of the campsite and for the preservation of the grounds. For long term parking (not every day 10x out) there is also a parking lot at the goat pasture.

Only buses are allowed to park in the bus spots (see signs).

The maximum speed on the site is 5 km per hour or at walking pace (so you cannot overtake a pedestrian). Watch out for children playing!

You may of course receive guests, but they must observe the campsite rules. The rates for short visits (3 hours) = € 0.50 per person, for long visits € 1.50 per person and for the car = € 0.50.

Renting a tent or caravan or making it available to friends or acquaintances is only permitted in consultation with us. Overnight visitors pay € 8.50 per night (children from 1-12 years € 6.50) and possibly car, dog and tent.

Sale of caravan:
Your caravan may not be resold while retaining its seasonal pitch.

Rest period:
Valid on our campsite between 23.00 and 7.00 (Municipal requirement). Avoid noise. Please realise that radio and TV in a quiet environment can be very loud and can disturb your neighbours. Make sure that no one is bothered by you.

Due to the wooded surroundings, a campfire is not allowed. (Municipal requirement).
Only in winter months (1 November/ 1 March) on the campfire spot/ so not at your own caravan.
You can order the fire bowl incl. wood € 25,00 (let us know in time, because of preparation),
Extra bag of wood € 15,00
Only burn what you get, so no wood from the forest (wet wood, sparks, dangerous)
Put a bucket of water for safety. Never leave the campfire unattended.
It may be cozy, but not a nuisance to other campers.
The fire has to be extinguished at 22.00 hours.

Forest areas:
No barbecuing is allowed here, also be careful with smoking, fire, cooking, etc. Never throw away a burning cigarette or match.

Fire brigade advice:
Ensure that your gas hoses are checked and replaced in good time. Prevent leakages. You are responsible for this yourself.

The forest behind the campsite is our property, you can walk or play in it. Until the barbed wire is our property, behind the wire is private property of other people. Please leave young plants in place, do not cut them down. Please do not let dogs out in the campsite woods!

In the winter months we carry out pruning, it is not permitted to remove the plants yourself.

Playground equipment:
The use of playground equipment must be carried out responsibly and is entirely at your own risk. Parents and guardians please watch over their children! The play equipment at the goat pasture is intended for children up to 10 years of age. In the forest, the play equipment is intended for older children. Skelters and bicycles may only be used on the campsite and not outside.
Please also put everything back at the go-kart place in the evening.
Trampoline: maximum 2 persons at the same time, max. 90 kg. Do not use the air trampoline if it is wet, as it is dangerous to slip on it.
The user may be held liable for any damage if the playground equipment is not used correctly.

Boules court:
Please use it carefully, 1 set of Jeu de Boules balls are in a kitchen cupboard.

We do not accept liability for the destruction, damage, loss, etc. of any property in our campsite or for any accidents to people or animals. You are responsible for insuring your tent or caravan against storm, fire, theft, etc.

We have chosen a camera surveillance system for securing property and giving a feeling of security, and also so that we can keep an eye on and oversee the grounds.

Found objects:
These should be delivered to the reception desk, we will do our best to return this item to its owner.

If someone causes damage to property of the campsite, that person will be held responsible for the possible damage.

If you have any complaints, please contact us so that we can do something about it.

Bicycle hire/e-scooter hire can be booked at the reception:
From € 12,00 for a whole day per bike, all bikes possible (tandem, parent-child tandem, mountain bike, ebike, regular bike).

Is measured with a kWh meter, everything you consume above the free usage, you pay € 0,40 per kWh. Cords, cables should be hung high, or well placed in the bushes, this is due to lawn mowing.

When you are absent, you should shut off the electricity and gas bottles. This is for safety reasons.
