Camping Brabant - Costa Kabrita

Camping rules

For the sake of livability on our campsite, it is necessary to have a set of camping rules. We live temporarily with several people, so it is important that everyone adheres to the rules. By being present at our campsite, you agree to the following rules:

FARM

Unauthorized entry to the farm premises (barns, stables, sheds, feed pits, etc.) is not allowed to prevent accidents.

EXCURSION AREA
The excursion area above the milking parlor, where you can watch the goats and milking, is open in the evening between 18:00 and 20:00. Children should be accompanied.

CHICKENS AND DUCKS
Next to the campsite, there are free-range chickens and decorative ducks. They enjoy bread, lettuce, and cabbage leaves. Please do not throw these in the trash but feed them to the chickens and ducks.

OTHER ANIMALS
We provide food for the cows, goats, and the dog. Feeding them is not allowed, as it can make them sick. They receive sufficient food from us.

HOUSEHOLD WASTE
All waste must be separated into bins. We all benefit from a healthy environment. All waste must be generated on the campsite.

  • Paper: in bin with blue lid
  • Full garbage bags: place them in the large round container
  • Bulky waste: take it home, such as chairs, tents, etc.
  • Glass: in the blue glass container
  • Vegetable waste, grass cuttings: in the small green container

LITTER
Pick up your own and others' litter while walking. Take a free bag from the Depo-Clean and borrow a litter picker. Dispose of the bag in the trash afterward.

WASTEWATER
Dumping wastewater near tents and caravans attracts flies and harms the environment. Dispose of wastewater in chemical toilets.

TOILET BUCKETS
Empty them in the chemical toilet. Preferably, avoid using chemical products. Tips: natural soap, green soap, and all-purpose toilet cleaners are the least harmful to nature.

TOILETS
We use the toilets together, so it is everyone's responsibility to keep them clean. Be proud of a clean toilet after each use! Dispose of sanitary products in the bins. A new accessible/family shower is available; use it only for the intended group (disabled and families with children).

CAMPERS
There is a disposal point at the front, near the chicken coop/under the walnut tree, for your dirty water, and you can also fetch water there. Empty toilets in chemical toilets.

WASHING MACHINE + DRYER
You can use the campsite washing machine and dryer; you can buy coins and detergent from us for € 3.00 per wash/dry. Only insert the coin when the light is off.

DISHWASHER
This is free, operates with a button, and takes 5 minutes. In case of malfunctions, unplug and plug the cord back in (reset) at the bottom of the kitchen cabinet.

AED, FIRST AID
The AED, first aid kit, and plaster dispenser are located under the canopy near the reception terrace. After use, return them and report what you used.

REFRIGERATOR/ KITCHEN
The refrigerator is for communal use. Ensure your name is on your items, including cooling elements. After using the oven or cooktop, clean it yourself, so it's tidy for the next user.

PETS
Pets are welcome on our campsite, but they must be kept on a leash. Walk them outside the campsite and not in the campsite's forest. There's a post near the toilets to tie your dog when using the toilet or washing dishes. We also have a depo-dog, so clean up dog poop yourself, so others are not bothered. So NO feces on the campsite and in the campsite forest.

PARKING CARS
Cars should be parked at the front of the site, and you can briefly drive onto the site for loading and unloading only. Please close the barrier after passing through. This is for the tranquility of the campsite and the preservation of the site. For long-term parking (not 10 times every day), there is also parking near the goat enclosure. Electric cars can charge at the farm.

BUSES
Only buses are allowed to park in designated bus spots (see signs).
